TAKE EFFECTIVE INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES BY ISOLATING AND CONTAINING PARTICLES RELEASED INTO THE AIR DURING HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION, RENOVATION, AND REPAIR ACTIVITIES
SHIELD WALL™ is a modular wall system designed to contain airborne contaminants while performing construction or renovation work. The wall system can also be used to create an emergency patient isolation area, or create a clean room to prevent airborne contaminants from entering.
When used properly in conjunction with an Abatement Technologies® Differential Pressure Monitor and a Portable Air Scrubber, SHIELD WALL™ CLASSIC, CLEAR, and CORE panels can be used to build an anteroom to allow passage between rooms while maintaining negative pressure differentials.

An anteroom is a small room that acts as a buffer zone helping control the flow of air and contaminants, allowing for the safe passage of personnel and equipment between contaminated and clean areas without compromising the sterile environment. Anterooms are designed to maintain negative or positive pressure differentials, which are essential for controlling the spread of airborne contaminants. This is particularly important in healthcare settings where patients with compromised immune systems are already at risk.
By using Differential Pressure Monitors and Portable Air Scrubbers, anterooms can maintain the necessary negative or positive pressure to help to contain dust, pathogens, and other airborne particles in the isolation or construction zones, preventing them from spreading to clean areas.
